Winter Solstice: New Moon in Capricorn

?????????????

The Theme of the Month is Achievement.

You are on track. In line with your goals, you are follow-through, commitment and responsibility. Celebrate the achievements attained this year, Acknowledge your feats and give gratitude to yourself for things done, accept where you are right now. Everything is perfect just at it is.

Mystic Mamma Says:

Super powered NEW MOON in Capricorn on the *SOLSTICE* heralds in a new time, a new season, and an opportunity to stand on behalf of our soul. So let’s tune in to our heart space and align with the heart of the Earth and the heart of the cosmos.”

“These turning points are opportunities for us to come together and unite our intentions in visualizing and birthing more LIGHT for our planet. It’s not about being afraid, of our collective shadows nor our personal ones, but about owning them and birthing more harmony and peace within ourselves and as a result without.”

Cathy Pagano’s Winter Solstice Story:

We have arrived at the depth of Winter. On December 21st, the Sun will reach the Tropic of Capricorn, the lowest point in the Sun’s journey south of the equator.  And it will stay there for 3 days as the ‘sun stands still’ before it begins its journey back North for the year.  For those of you who live in the southern hemisphere, Happy Summer Solstice!  It’s the marriage of heaven and Earth for you.

We celebrate the Winter Solstice as a festival of the Rebirth of the Sun, or the birth of the Divine Child of Light.  The mystery of this time of year in the northern hemisphere is that in the darkest times, the Light is reborn. We have not only arrived at this yearly celebration, but we’ve also arrived at a collective ‘dark time’ and we have to re-birth our faith in life, our hopes for a better future and our determination to ‘make it so’ as my hero, Captain Picard would say.”

Early December Stargazing with Elizabeth Joyce:

“December will be a positive month for most of us. Although there still can be some challenges, overall you will find a rise in your luck as we move away from watery Scorpio’s influence into fiery Sagittarius energies. You will feel a sense of optimism and good dynamics with whatever is happening in your life. It’s been a long time, since 2011, since this wave of positive energy has been present.

This week is filled with planets in fire and air, which means the emphasis is on the head and not the heart. December 1st is an upbeat day full of light as the Sun is in Sagittarius and the Moon is in Aries. This aspect sets the foundation for the power-based shift of Mars on Thursday, when it moves out of Capricorn and into Aquarius. December 6th, the Gemini Full Moon brings us to the emotional high tide for December. Like any full moon, this one reminds us to finish what we started, and find resolutions to relationship issues or anything else that is hanging in the balance.”

Simon Vorster for Wakeup-World: New Moon in Capricorn – The Soul’s Purpose

As the sun leaves Sagittarius and enters Capricorn, a new evolutionary journey of our consciousness begins. Out of the mutable fiery, jovial energy that is Sagittarius we go, we once again return inward and into the depths of our soul’s inner reality. It is here where we are asked to slow down, take time and start to reflect again on the meaning behind the special purpose we feel awakened to.

Much of our cosmic journey so far has brought us great awareness towards wanting more fulfilment out of life. With both Jupiter in Leo and Uranus in Aries stimulating and activating these fiery creative aspects of ourselves it is most certainly something we cannot ignore. With the Sun and Moons movement into Capricorn where they join Venus and Mercury the seeds for this next evolutionary cycle are created. The stage is set for this month’s theme: Inner reflection and finding Soul purpose.

From Elephant Journal: Last New Moon of 2014 falls in the ambitious sign of Capricorn.

It will take place on December 21st/22nd (depending on your time zone). It’ll pack a ton of zing into our zang and perhaps help many of us get into DO mode and get something going that we’ve been meaning to for a  while.

Capricorn style is about to take over the Zodiac.

By the time the last new moon of the year hits, we’ll have five planets shimmering in true Capricorn radiance. And, let’s face it—this is a sign that looks good—no matter what. Don’t be fooled, however, it’s not just about looks with Capricorn.

This is a sign that does something. It’s a task master—responsibility taker and goal implementer. It’s willing to put in the hard work and will always get the job done. One of the drawbacks, because there always has to be something, is that it can cause us to over-do-it in the do department. So,  it’s important to watch our boundaries when this energy is running high.

The Capricorn energy also has a tendency to take on too much and feel guilty for not being able to get it all done. If anyone has ever told us to “lighten up” it’s because the Capricorn in us was on overload…this New Moon will help give us a power boost and likely give that extra push to get all the holiday stuff done. More powerfully however, this energy gives us some help in setting important goals in 2015.

Uranus, the planet that used to rule over Capricorn, will also be in the limelight during this New Moon. This is important to know because this is a planet likes to excite and give us a jolt. He’s been moving retro since late July and he’s now ready to move it forward.

 ASTRONOMY HAPPENINGS

Earth aligns with the Galactic Center every year during the Winter Soltice. A bit like tracing the movement of curls in our hair from root to tip, the movement of the Earth oscillates never landing in the same time and space twice but more moving in the shape of our spirals. Breathe and connect to the movement, follow your hair (or visualize your DNA as an alternative) and envision the planetary dance into alignment with the Galactic Center.

ecliptic_galactic_equator_winter_solstice_point-300x300  “Two things set Sagittarius apart from all other constellations: the winter solstice sun shines in front of it, and it marks the direction to the center of our Milky Way galaxy.” from earthsky.org

SOLSTICE GEOMAGNETIC STORM (Excerpted from SpaceWeather.com).

“A coronal mass ejection (CME) hit Earth’s magnetic field on Dec. 21st, sparking a G1-class geomagnetic storm. For sky watchers around the Arctic Circle, the longest night of the year was filled with colorful lights. Truls Tiller sends this picture from Tromsdalen, Norway: Truls-Tiller-_MG_2600-2_1419219684

‘I was just about to go to bed on Dec. 22nd when I had a feeling [that something was up],” says Tiller. “So, at 2.45 a.m., I took my camera and went into the forest just behind my house. This is what I saw. It was amazing!’

More lights are in the offing. NOAA forecasters estimate a 60% chance of continued geomagnetic storms on Dec. 22-23 as Earth passes through the wake of the CME.

FIREBALLS. Every night, a network of NASA all-sky cameras scans the skies above the United States for meteoritic fireballs. Automated software maintained by NASA’s Meteoroid Environment Office calculates their orbits, velocity, penetration depth in Earth’s atmosphere and many other characteristics. On Dec. 23, 2014, the network reported 27 fireballs

.In this diagram of the inner solar system, all of the fireball orbits intersect at a single point–Earth. The orbits are color-coded by velocity, from slow (red) to fast (blue).”

Dimensionality and Cosmic Energies Arising

You contain the universe within. Existing beyond multiple dimensions we create our worlds. Check out a few highlights of readings this way in the road by Starchild Global. Here’s a clip of their report:

“This year of 2014 has been a powerful year of change, and yet more change, and at the same time it has seemed as though the choas intensifies daily. But, Beloved Ones, while you may see this intense chaos, you will also need to look deeper and see the Divine Pattern that is emerging through this tumult of creative energy.”
